Abstract(s)
pandemia.
a contextualizar e retirar conclusões pertinentes.
plataformas digitais e respetivas entrevistas à equipa Time Out e outros meios de
This report aims to deepen how Time Out Portugal migrated from the weekly paper edition to the digital medium in which it resided during the pandemic. It is intended to know which tools enabled this process of migration to online, analyze the magazine's digital presence on the website and social networks, understand the pandemic as a driver and find out how the team dealt with the changes. To understand this adaptation, it is pertinent to gather literature on the media economy, the trajectory of digital journalism, understand how communities relate and analyze the national and foreign market taking into account the pandemic. It is important to look at some similar media in order to contextualize and draw relevant conclusions. The study was developed based on the internship in the team held between November 2020 and May 2021 (in person and teleworking), theoretical framework, data from digital platforms and respective interviews with the Time Out team and other related media. The research results point to the fact that the team dealt positively with the change, being fruitful and bringing learnings for the future of the organization. However, it should be noted that it was necessary to overcome obstacles that can still be a challenge for Time Out Portugal.
