A mitologia clássica no humanismo do renascimento português

Abstract

O A. reflecte sobre a importância que assumiu a mitologia clássica no discurso quinhentista em latim, em que se assiste a uma aproximação com a mundividência cristã. Atitude idêntica se observa em autores cristãos do séc. III e em textos da própria Bíblia.

We aim to reflect on the importance of mythology in 15th century Latin discourse, highlighting its close connecti on to the Christian worldview. A similar attitude is to be found in 3th century Christian authors and in biblical texts.
