Adornos realizados somente em ouro ou com recurso a aljôfares e a gemas inorgânicas, corporizam brincos, colares, cordões, anéis ou pendentes religiosos, algumas das principais tipologias identificadas. Na prataria, sobressai a presença dos talheres, que acompanham a evolução nos hábitos de sociabilidade, bem como da principal peça de representação das elites, o gomil e bacia de água-às-mãos.The possession of objects of silver and goldsmithing by the populations of the region of Ponta Delgada (São Miguel island, Azores) is witnessed by the inventories, one of the most important sources for the knowledge of the existing pieces and their owners. Ornaments made only of gold, or using pearls and inorganic gems, embody earrings, necklaces, strings, rings or religious pendants, some of the main typologies identified.
