Sendo redigida em finais do séc. IV representa um verdadeiro legado espiritual da antiguidade cristã. Escrito provavelmente em Antioquia da Síria, o De Sacerdotio aborda, como o nome indica, o sacerdócio ministerial ordenado. Nele encontrasse um autêntico elogio ao sacerdócio cristão, pautado por belíssimas e riquíssimas imagens, quer bíblicas quer do quotidiano. Assim, partindo da vida de João Crisóstomo e da leitura e estudo do De Sacerdotio, este trabalho procura olhar o ministério sacerdotal ordenado propondo um cenário embrionário para os tria munera como tripé fundamental do exercício do ministério ordenado. Neste sentido, e depois de serem destacados os três múnus crísticos no texto de João Crisóstomo, são realçadas as suas concretizações no Magistério relacionado com o sacerdócio ministerial, desde o II Concílio do Vaticano.De Sacerdotio is one of the most known and widely spread works by John Chrysostom. Written in the end of the 4th century, it represents a true spiritual legacy of the ancient Christianity. Most likely written in Antioch of Syria, De Sacerdotio approaches, as its title suggests, the ordained ministerial priesthood. In this Chrysostom’s work, we can find an authentic praise to the Christian priesthood, enriched by very beautiful and interesting images, both from the Bible and from the daily life. Therefore, starting from the life of John Chrysostom and the reading and study of De Sacerdotio, the present work tries to look at the ordained ministerial priesthood by proposing na embryonic scenario to the tria munera, as a fundamental tripod to the practice of the ordained ministry.
