Assim, esta dissertação focar-se-á na espiritualidade da Igreja, como uma comunidade em peregrinação na terra para a Jerusalém Celeste. A Igreja vive, pois, aspirando a santidade, meta da sua peregrinação. A espiritualidade da Igreja é a vida vivida para esse fim: a glória de Deus e a santificação do homem. A dissertação apresentará que: 1) o Senhor mostra os seus caminhos ao homem para o seu bem; 2) uma vez posto à caminho, o homem deve seguir o Senhor com fidelidade e perseverança, vigilância e luta, tradução daquilo que se entende por escuta, a qual é sempre exigida ao convocado; 3) toda a peregrinação da Igreja é, em suma, para engrandecer o Senhor e para ela mesma santificar-se.The pilgrimage of the Church is primarily a spiritual journey of gradual sanctification. The life of the Church flows from the love of God, is moved in Him and is directed towards Him; it is a life of love. Thus, this dissertation will focus on the spirituality of the Church as a community on pilgrimage on earth towards the heavenly Jerusalem. The Church lives, then, aspiring to holiness, the goal of her pilgrimage. The spirituality of the Church is a life guided to this end: the glory of God and the sanctification of man.
