Para o efeito, explora a filosofia da arte de Gadamer que permite, no contexto e para além da sua filosofia hermenêutica, compreender a dimensão da alteridade presente em todo o fenômeno artístico. Tendo em conta essa categoria, estabelece-se uma relação com categorias teológicas que permitem uma aproximação das duas áreas. Essa aproximação terá consequências sobre a noção de teologia, assim como sobre a contextualização desta relação no campo específico da liturgia.This article aims to explore the relationship between religion, theology and art. To this end, it examines Gadamer's philosophy of art, which, in the context of and beyond his hermeneutic philosophy, allows us to understand the dimension of otherness present in all artistic phenomena. Taking this category into account, a relationship is established with theological categories that allow the two areas to be brought closer together.
