Este relatório tem como objetivo clarificar os objetivos, atividades e competências adquiridas no âmbito do mestrado em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica, utilizando os critérios já referidos. Assenta o relatório em três fundamentais pilares de construção, a Deontologia Profissional de enfermagem, os cuidados de enfermagem face à pessoa em situação especial de vulnerabilidade e o desenvolvimento de competências. A violência doméstica em Portugal tem um crescimento exponencial nos últimos anos, quer ao nível de denúncia quer na efetivação e perpetuação do crime. Neste sentido irão explorar-se as intervenções específicas no cuidado à pessoa vítima de violência doméstica. É no contexto da violência doméstica que se realizou uma revisão da literatura cujo objetivo foi identificar as intervenções específicas no cuidado de enfermagem à pessoa vítima de violência doméstica. Os estágios, inerentes a este percurso, desenvolveram-se no Serviço de Medicina Intensiva e no Serviço de Urgência Central do Hospital de Santa Maria, em Lisboa e no Veículo Médico de Emergência e Reanimação do Hospital Beatriz Ângelo, em Loures.The nurse specialist in medical and surgical nursing has developed specific competences that correspond to criteria established both by the Nurses’ Order and also by Nursing School of the Health Sciences Institute of Portuguese Catholic University. This report aims to clarify the objectives, activities and skills acquired in the specialty in medical-surgical nursing, using the criteria already mentioned. It establishes the report in three fundamental pillars of construction. Professional Deontology of nursing, nursing care to the person in a situation of vulnerability and the development of skills. Domestic violence in Portugal has grown exponentially in recent yars both at the level of denunciation and in perpetuating crime. In this sense, specific interventions in the care of the victim of domestic violence will be explored. It is in the context of domestic violence that a review of the literature was carried out whose objective was to identify specific interventions in the nursing care to the person victim of domestic violence.
