Apesar da escassez de informação, a nível nacional, cremos ter atingido o objetivo a que nos propusemos.This dissertation presents the trust as an instrument for ensuring the fulfillment of obrigations. Its objective and subjective structures will be adressed before we turn to the main theme. The present presentation seeks demonstrating to what extent the trust assumes a guaranteeing role for creditors in legal traffic. Having this in mind, we have gathered some examples where this guaranty function is present.
