O objetivo deste trabalho é o de aprofundar o significado de cada uma destas três fases, através da análise da obra deste filósofo contemporâneo e, ao mesmo tempo, propor uma interpretação dialética para a sua teoria. Por fim, reflete-se sobre as implicações práticas desta teoria, enfatizando a importância que a obra de arte e o artista desempenham na pólis.Xavier Rubert de Ventós (1939-2023) redefines the aesthetic experience by structuring it into three stages: astonishment, recognition, and de-recognition. According to this philosopher, it is the (new) art, involved in several aspects of our everyday lives, that should lead us to the experience of de-recognition. Through a bibliographic study of this contemporary thinker, the aim of this paper is to develop a deeper understanding of these three stages and, at the same time, propose our dialectical interpretation.
