Serão abordados os antagonismos entre a inspiração e a apropriação artísticas, bem como as incompatibilidades entre a industrialização da música e a liberdade criativa. Por outro lado, o documento faz um levantamento de alguns marcos históricos do sampling na música, como a sua importância para o movimento Plunderphonics, ou a sua influência na cultura hip-hop, particularmente na música rap. Para além disso, é feita uma análise crítica do álbum Madvillainy, com a técnica de sampling como eixo central de comentário. Por fim, a sustentar toda a base teórica, o projeto é complementado por um álbum musical “Perfeita Repetição”, que dá nome ao mesmo, e que consiste em composições desenvolvidas pelo autor, maioritariamente, com recurso à manipulação de samples.This project reflects on the sampling technique, addressing some issues related to ethical, legal, technical and artistic aspects that are associated with it, as well as musical genres and instruments that characterize it. The antagonisms between artistic inspiration and appropriation will be addressed, as well as the incompatibilities between the industrialization of music and creative freedom. On the other hand, the document surveys some historical milestones of sampling in music, such as its importance for the Plunderphonics movement, or its influence on hip-hop culture, particularly in rap music. Furthermore, a critical analysis of the album Madvilainy is made, with the sampling technique as the central axis of commentary.
