Lamelas, Isidro PereiraSilva, José Manuel Nunes da2019-10-312019-10-24http://hdl.handle.net/10400.14/28536Com o nosso tema “a pobreza como desafio pastoral da Igreja” temos como principal objetivo o de descobrir, como fruto do estudo das Homilias sobre o Evangelho segundo São Mateus, de João de Antioquia, mais tarde “Crisóstomo”, de que forma podemos adaptar e atualizar a atividade pastoral dos crentes, fazendo uma ponte entre a mensagem social de João Crisóstomo, o pensamento social do Papa Francisco. Este trabalho tem pertinência nos nossos dias, porque nos oferece os fundamentos da Tradição para o entendimento da “opção/amor preferencial pelos pobres” e para a praxis pastoral da Igreja. Iremos desenvolver o nosso trabalho em quatro capítulos, iniciando com um capítulo de contextualização histórica, social e religiosa do tempo em que se insere o nosso autor. Depois passaremos a um segundo capítulo sobre pregação, onde traçaremos, em linhas gerais, as características da pregação e abordaremos a figura do nosso autor, enquanto pregador em Antioquia, bem como a sua obra oratória. No terceiro capítulo, abordaremos as Homilias sobre o Evangelho segundo São Mateus, primeiramente destacando os núcleos temáticos e, num segundo momento, analisaremos na íntegra três homilias fundamentais para a temática em estudo. No quarto e último capítulo, apresentaremos resumidamente alguns documentos pontifícios que antecedem o Magistério do Papa Francisco, para depois tentarmos entender quais elementos do pensamento social de João Crisóstomo estão presentes no atual Bispo de Roma.With our theme “Poverty as a pastoral challenge of the Church” we have as our main objective, finding out as a result of the study of the Homilies on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, by John of Antioch, later “Chrysostom”, how can we adapt and bringing in to our days the pastoral activity of the followers bridging therefore the social message between John Chrysostom and the social thought of Pope Francis. This work assumes importance in our days because it offers us the foundations of tradition to understanding the “preferential option / love for the poor” and the pastoral praxis of the Church. We shall develop our work in four chapters, starting with the historical, social and religious contextualization in which our author is inserted. Then we'll move to preaching, where we will outline the main characteristics of preaching assuming the figure of our author as a preacher in Antioch, as well as his oratory work. On the third chapter we will approach the Gospel homilies according to St. Matthew, first highlighting the fundamental thematic and, in a second moment, we will analyze in full three fundamental homilies to the theme under study.
