Durante o estágio foi realizada a inventariação e intervenção de parte da coleção histórica têxtil da instituição acolhedora. Através da análise visual, complementada por exames posteriores, verificou-se que os figurinos apresentavam sinais de degradação, em parte, devido ao manuseamento e uso regular, bem como ao armazenamento e acondicionamento incorretos. Foi realizada uma intervenção de restauro em seis figurinos têxteis previamente escolhidos e uma intervenção conservativa nas restantes peças pertencentes à coleção da entidade mencionada. Realizaram-se ainda outras ações, nomeadamente: a identificação dos materiais, a implementação de métodos de exame e análise e o acondicionamento adequado. Este estágio contribuiu, por um lado, para apoiar a associação teatral na prevenção do seu valioso espólio têxtil, preparando os figurinos para pesquisa futura e estudo; por outro lado, preparando as peças para exposições e abrindo oportunidades de fruição por parte do público em geral.The present report describes the work produced in the scope of the internship that was part of the master's in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. The internship was carried out in Círculo Cultural Teatral/Teatro Experimental do Porto and was developed in the field of textile conservation and restoration. An inventory and intervention of part of the textile historical collection of the hosting institution was carried out during the internship. Through visual analysis, complemented by subsequent examinations, we could verify that costumes showed signs of degradation, partly due to regular handling and use, as well as to incorrect storage and packaging. A restoration intervention was conducted in six previously chosen textile costumes and a conservation intervention in the remaining pieces belonging to the collection of the mentioned entity. Other actions were achieved, namely: the identification of materials, the implementation of examination and analysis methods and the adequate storage.
