O presente trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar de que forma o ensino artístico é capaz de fornecer ao aluno experiências ricas, nas quais se associem os valores. Para isso, estudámos a fundo a metodologia proposta pelo autor Alfonso López Quintás na tentativa de proporcionar ao aluno uma formação integral. Neste autor, a experiência da arte, quando bem conduzida, orienta-nos para a descoberta de um novo caminho da educação. Um caminho no qual o ser humano encontra a sua verdadeira natureza. A parte teórica deste trabalho consistiu, basicamente, no aprofundamento do conhecimento daquela metodologia, através do contato com a obra do autor referido, enriquecido também com alguns contatos pessoais. Na parte prática, procurámos aplicar essa metodologia na turma 11ºH da Escola Secundária Camilo Castelo Branco, na qual realizamos o nosso estágio pedagógico, utilizando a unidade curricular de História da Cultura e das Artes. Pretendendo com esta aplicação analisar a importância da metodologia no projeto de formação integral do aluno.We do believe that the current trend of teaching runs the risk of turning the human values into forgotten issues due to the fact that education itself seems to be focused almost exclusively in the scientific knowledge of the human being, leaving the artistic experience into the background, with all the positive things that this experience can give to life and human happiness. The present work aims to show how arts education can provide students rich experiences in which they have the possibility to associate the values. For this we studied in depth the methodology proposed by the author Alfonso López Quintás in an attempt to provide the student with a comprehensive education. According to this author, the experience of art, when well conducted, directs us to the discovery of a new path for education. One way in which human beings find their true nature. The theoretical part of this work consisted primarily in the deeper understanding of this methodology through contact with the author's work above, plus some personal contacts that we believe operating with a surplus value. In the practical part, we tried to apply this methodology in the class 11ºH of Escola Secundária Camilo Castelo Branco, in which we conducted our teaching practice, using the Course of History of Culture and Arts.
