O estudo, de carater exploratório, teve como principal objetivo compreender de que forma a perceção da relação trabalho-família de homens e mulheres fundadores de startups se relaciona com a sua perceção geral de satisfação com a vida. A investigação de cariz qualitativo, foi realizada com base em oito entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas, seguindo-se a análise temática como técnica utilizada no tratamento dos dados. Os resultados sugerem que embora os participantes apontem uma elevada perceção de conflito trabalho-família, experienciam igualmente uma elevada satisfação geral com a vida. Apresentam-se algumas implicações práticas dos resultados obtidos, assim como as limitações e sugestões para futuras investigações.The present investigation focuses on the analysis of the Work-Family balance and on the Life Satisfaction when looked at from the perspective of startups founders. This study's main purpose was to understand how the perception of the work-family relationship of startup founders, is related to their general perception of life satisfaction. This study is based on qualitative research, where eight individual semi-structured interviews were developed, followed by thematic analysis, as a technique used in the data treatment. Thus, the results, for this sample, suggest that despite the evidence of work-family conflict, they experience greater overall life satisfaction.
