A exploração deste conto lembra-nos o processo de humanização pelo qual todo o ser humano passa na construção da sua identidade. Apresenta um caminho que inclui as várias adversidades da vida, assumindo a condição humana decaída como desafio para a autossuperação, num processo de aprendizagem e de crescimento. Neste processo de desenvolvimento humano a liberdade é parte inerente e sem ela tudo o que é verdadeiramente humano fica sem sentido e sem contexto. É condição essencial de humanidade. Portanto, a vivência da liberdade exige o respeito pelo bem comum. Neste sentido, ninguém é livre de forma isolada, libertamo-nos e curamo-nos mutuamente. De modo a atingir os objetivos delineados, este ensaio converge para a crise humanitária contemporânea, fortemente marcada pelas migrações forçadas, fazendo uma analogia entre a águia, na sua condição de galinha, e a situação dos refugiados, obrigados a abandonar a sua família, a sua casa e a sua terra, passando por dificuldades extremas, colocando em risco a própria vida. É enfatizado neste estudo que dependemos objetivamente dos outros, complementamo-nos, formando um todo: as espécies, os ecossistemas e o universo. É uma perspetiva de dependência que não aprisiona, mas que liberta, porque carateriza todos os seres do universo e está alicerçada no amor, como dom generoso, que põe em movimento um imenso processo de libertação: de carências, de opressões e de limitações de toda ordem.In this Supervised Teaching Practice Report we intend to study the value of freedom in the human condition starting from the tale "The Eagle and the hen" by Leonardo Boff. The exploitation of this tale reminds us the humanization process by which every human being passes through the construction of his identity. It presents a path that includes the various adversities of life, assuming the fallen human condition as a challenge for self-improvement, in a learning and growth process. In this process of human development freedom is an inherent part and without it, everything that is truly human is meaningless and without context. It is an essential condition of humanity. Therefore, the experience of freedom requires respect for the common good. In this sense, no one is free in isolation, we release ourselves and we heal each other. In order to achieve the outlined objectives, this essay converges to the contemporary humanitarian crisis, strongly marked by forced migrations, making an analogy between the eagle, in its condition of chicken, and the refugees’ situation, forced to abandon their family, their home and their land, experiencing extreme difficulties, including the risk of their own life. It is emphasized in this study that we objectively depend on the others, we complement each other forming a whole: the species, the ecosystems and the universe.
