A Comunidade de Taizé (França), fundada por Roger Schutz, representa desde os anos 40 uma referência fundamental no seio do movimento ecuménico. O Concílio de Jovens (1970-79), dinâmica religiosa animada pela comunidade, desempenhou um papel essencial como catalisador da universalização da experiência ecuménica de Taizé. Neste processo de renovação da vivência cristã, sobretudo da pastoral juvenil, destaca-se um indelével impacto na situação religiosa de diversos países. Neste artigo procuram-se avaliar de forma preliminar os matizes desse relacionamento entre Taizé e Portugal.
The Taizé Community (France) was founded by Roger Schutz and represents since the forties an essential reference inside the ecumenical movement. The Youth Council (1970-79), a religious dynamics animated by the Community, played an important role as catalyser of the universalization of Taizé’s ecumenical experience. In this process of Christian life’s renewal, mainly the youth pastoral, stands out a strong impact on the religious situations of several countries. This article searches preliminarily the facets’ evaluation of the relationship between Taizé and Portugal.
